Kiawah Island home prices fall in February 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in February 2017 in Kiawah Island fell by $316,000 while total sales decreased by 25%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In February 2017, there were nine homes sold, with a median sale price of $650,000 - a 32.7% decrease over the $966,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 12 homes sold in Kiawah Island in February 2016.

The median sales tax in Kiawah Island for the most recent year with available data, 2015, was $8,132, approximately 1.3% of the median home sale price for February 2017.
