Mount Pleasant home prices rise in August 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in August 2017 in Mount Pleasant rose by $80,000 while total sales decreased by 47.7%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In August 2017, there were 113 homes sold, with a median sale price of $455,000 - a 21.3% increase over the $375,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 216 homes sold in Mount Pleasant in August 2016.

The median sales tax in Mount Pleasant for the most recent year with available data, 2015, was $1,649, approximately 0.4% of the median home sale price for August 2017.
