Charleston home prices unchanged in August 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in August 2017 in Charleston was unchanged while total sales decreased by 56.9%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In August 2017, there were 157 homes sold, with a median sale price of $265,000. There were 364 homes sold in Charleston in August 2016, and the median sales price for the period was also $265,000.

The median sales tax in Charleston for the most recent year with available data, 2015, was $1,430, approximately 0.5% of the median home sale price for August 2017.
