James Island home prices fall in December 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in December 2017 in James Island fell by $13,650 while total sales decreased by 43.8%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In December 2017, there were nine homes sold, with a median sale price of $249,350 - a 5.2% decrease over the $263,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 16 homes sold in James Island in December 2016.

The median sales tax in James Island for the most recent year with available data, 2015, was $1,253, approximately 0.5% of the median home sale price for December 2017.
