North Charleston home prices rise in December 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in December 2017 in North Charleston rose by $26,000 while total sales decreased by 39.4%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In December 2017, there were 63 homes sold, with a median sale price of $160,000 - a 19.4% increase over the $134,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 104 homes sold in North Charleston in December 2016.

The median sales tax in North Charleston for the most recent year with available data, 2015, was $729, approximately 0.5% of the median home sale price for December 2017.
