Charleston home prices rise in February 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in February 2018 in Charleston rose by $11,250 while total sales decreased by 16.7%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In February 2018, there were 135 homes sold, with a median sale price of $275,000 - a 4.3% increase over the $263,750 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 162 homes sold in Charleston in February 2017.

The median sales tax in Charleston for the most recent year with available data, 2015, was $1,430, approximately 0.5% of the median home sale price for February 2018.
