In the third quarter of 2025, nine Food and Cosmetics companies received nine FDA inspections in South Carolina, according to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

This was the highest number of inspections per type of company made by the FDA in South Carolina, equalling 47.4% of all inspections in the third quarter of 2025.

Of all the South Carolina companies involved in the Food and Cosmetics sector, Gics Foods, LLC and The Power of Elderberries, LLC received the most citations from the FDA in the third quarter of 2025.
