The American Federation for Children announced new research showing Florida’s approach to school choice is significantly more cost-effective than traditional public spending increases.
In the Center for Education Reform’s 2024 Parent Power Index, South Carolina secured the ninth position, with an Overall Parent Power Index Score of 80.3%.
The South Carolina Department of Employment and Workforce (DEW) and the South Carolina Department of Education’s Office of Adult Education (SCDE) created a partnership program called the General Education Development (GED) Inventive Program. The program offers residents the chance to earn their GED free of charge and receive a one time $500 payment if they pass the exam.
