Dear Estefania Carrillo,

I hope you know just how special you are.

It takes a caring person to help safeguard the natural resources we all rely on…to use your voice to protect the vulnerable…to make every effort to tackle the biggest challenges facing all life on Earth.

Not everyone is willing to step up and act on their values — but you are someone I know I can count on. You believe a brighter future for our planet is possible, and we need more leaders like you now.

As the unprecedented threats of the past year hit home for so many of us, more and more people like you are joining the movement to protect nature — people who are resolving to do better, be better, and make a commitment to the planet. By working together, we find a way to do even more to ensure nature and people can thrive.

I’m so grateful that you chose to step up and become a loyal member. You were driven by a spark — something about nature that touches your heart — and I hope you’ll share what inspires you to keep supporting our mission.

Will you finish this sentence about why you’ve made a commitment to protect nature? Choose the answer that resonates best with you:

“I’m doing my part for nature because…”

Whatever your reason, please know that we are so grateful for all you do to support The Nature Conservancy. At this critical time for our planet, every single person like you who has the courage to commit to creating a more sustainable future can make a difference.

Your support matters. Last year you helped us save more than 300,000 acres of critical lands and put real climate solutions into action around the world — and we’ve got big plans for 2022. With every online petition you sign, every action you take in your community, and every generous donation you make, you are putting nature on a better path.

Thank you again for stepping up when nature needs you. I’m so grateful to have you as part of our community.

 With thanks,

 Dave Strauss
