The Citadel announced on April 29 that its upcoming baseball game against Presbyterian, originally set for Friday at 6 p.m., will now begin at 5 p.m. The change was made because of expected bad weather in Clinton, South Carolina.

The adjustment aims to ensure the safety of players and fans while allowing the game to be played as planned. Weather-related schedule changes are common in outdoor sports and can affect both teams’ preparations.

According to the announcement, “Due to inclement weather in Clinton, S.C., Friday’s matchup between The Citadel and Presbyterian, originally scheduled for 6 p.m., has been moved to a 5 p.m. first pitch.”
