The South Carolina Department of Transportation (SCDOT) will implement temporary lane closures on the I-20 Westbound bridge over the Wateree River in Kershaw County. Starting at 8 p.m. on August 24, the right lane will be closed continuously to facilitate bridge rehabilitation work. These closures are scheduled to remain in place until noon on August 28.

The work zone is located between mile markers 95 and 97. SCDOT advises drivers to reduce speed and stay alert while passing through this area. Travelers are encouraged to plan their routes using the 511SC App or by visiting 511sc.org. Delays are anticipated, and alternative routes should be considered if possible.
