The median sale price of a home sold in the third quarter of 2019 in Summerville rose by $14,500 while total sales increased by 150%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through September of 2019, there were 35 homes sold, with a median sale price of $233,000 – a 6.6% increase over the $218,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 14 homes sold in Summerville in the third quarter of 2018.

The median sales tax in Summerville for 2019 was $952. In 2018, the median sales tax was $936. This marks an increase of 1.7%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 0.4%.
