McMaster outlines schedule for SXSW panel; Evette active across state

Gov. Henry McMaster, Lt. Gov. Pamela S. Evette, and First Lady Peggy McMaster have announced their schedules for the week of March 10, 2025.

On Monday, March 10 at 3:30 PM, Lt. Gov. Evette visited Sargent Metals in Anderson, South Carolina.

Gov. McMaster is set to speak on Tuesday, March 11 at 11:30 AM (CST) at the South by Southwest Conference & Festivals in Austin, Texas. The panel discussion will focus on "How EVs Secure U.S. Leadership and Strengthen Communities." A video of the Governor's panel will be available after the event.

Later that day at 6:00 PM, Lt. Gov. Evette will address attendees at the Inman State of the City event in Inman, South Carolina.

On Thursday, March 13 at 5:00 PM, she will speak at the Charleston Business and Brews reception in Charleston.

Saturday activities include her speaking engagement at the Greenville St. Patrick’s Day Parade at 10:00 AM and later attending the Ghana Independence Celebration Dinner in Spartanburg at 6:00 PM.

For reference to previous engagements from last week starting March 3:

Gov. McMaster attended several events including a call with President Donald J. Trump on Monday and participated in various meetings throughout the week involving policy discussions and economic development announcements across South Carolina.

He also joined a press conference with Darlington Raceway on Tuesday alongside First Lady Peggy McMaster and held a joint press conference with members of the South Carolina Senate on Wednesday.

The week's activities concluded with his participation in a call with the South Carolina Department of Corrections on Friday evening.
