U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham, who serves as the Chairman of the Senate Budget Committee, issued a statement following the House of Representatives' adoption of the House Budget Resolution (H. Con. Res 14).

Graham expressed his appreciation for the House's initiative to start the process of passing a reconciliation bill. He stated, "I appreciate the House’s efforts to begin the process of passing a reconciliation bill."

The senator emphasized his commitment to collaborating with the House to solidify tax cut provisions by making them permanent, aligning with President Trump's priorities. Graham remarked, "I look forward to working with the House to strengthen the tax cut provisions by making them permanent in order to meet President Trump’s priorities."

Additionally, Graham highlighted his intention to ensure that the Department of Homeland Security receives $175 billion in funding necessary for border security. He noted, "Time is of the essence when it comes to border security. ICE will run out of money in weeks, not months. Stalling President Trump’s border security agenda is not only bad politics, it is dangerous."

The statement underscores Graham's focus on both fiscal policy and national security concerns.
