Gov. McMaster announces weekly schedule including cabinet agency announcement

Governor Henry McMaster, Lieutenant Governor Pamela S. Evette, and First Lady Peggy McMaster have outlined their schedules for the week of February 17, 2025.

On Tuesday, February 18, at 2:30 PM, Governor McMaster will hold a press conference to announce a cabinet agency decision at the Governor’s Office located at 1100 Gervais Street in Columbia, South Carolina. Earlier that day, at noon, Lieutenant Governor Evette is scheduled to speak at the South Carolina Healthy Business Challenge 2025 Fellowship Kickoff held at the Palmetto Club on Sumter Street in Columbia.

From Wednesday, February 19 through Friday, February 23, Governor McMaster will attend the National Governors Association and Republican Governors Association Winter Meetings in Washington, D.C. On Wednesday morning at 10:00 AM, Lt. Gov. Evette will speak at the Limestone Voluntary Protection Program Certification Ceremony in Gaffney. Later that afternoon at 3:15 PM, she will attend the SCbio Annual Conference at The Gaillard Center in Charleston.

On Friday morning at 10:45 AM, Lt. Gov. Evette is set to be the keynote speaker at the South Carolina Technical Education Association Annual Conference taking place at Hilton Myrtle Beach Oceanfront Resort.

Lt. Gov. Evette's schedule concludes on Saturday evening with her speaking engagement at the South Carolina Young Republican’s Golden Age Gala hosted by Charleston Marriott.

The previous week's schedule for Governor McMaster included various meetings and public appearances from February 10-14 in Columbia and Spartanburg. Highlights included his speech at the annual Governor’s Conference on Tourism and Travel and presenting the Order of the Palmetto to Duane Swygert and Bo Gossett.
