Portland Bolt & Manufacturing Company has announced an expansion of its operations in Edgefield County, South Carolina. The company's $4.3 million investment is set to create 21 new jobs in the area.
The company, founded in Oregon in 1912, specializes in manufacturing nonstandard anchor bolts and construction fasteners. In June 2024, Portland Bolt acquired a manufacturing facility in North Augusta from Southern Anchor Bolt to better serve East Coast customers.
A new facility will be constructed at 890 West Five Notch Road in North Augusta to accommodate an additional manufacturing line and expanded production capacity.
