Governor McMaster's upcoming schedule includes chamber summit and inaugural WaterSC meeting

Gov. Henry McMaster, Lt. Gov. Pamela S. Evette, and First Lady Peggy McMaster have a busy schedule for the week of October 28, 2024.

On Tuesday, October 29 at 9:45 AM, Lt. Gov. Evette will be the keynote speaker at an event titled "Talent Flow: The X Factor for Employee Recruitment & Retention." This event is hosted by the York County Regional Chamber of Commerce and will take place at the Technology Center in Rock Hill, South Carolina.

Later that day, at 7:15 PM, Gov. McMaster is scheduled to attend the South Carolina Chamber of Commerce's 45th Annual Summit held at Wild Dunes Resort on Isle of Palms.

On Wednesday, October 30 at 2:00 PM, Gov. McMaster will participate in the inaugural WaterSC meeting at Stone River in West Columbia.

The previous week's schedule for Gov. McMaster included several notable events:

On Monday, October 21, he had a policy meeting followed by speaking engagements at an economic development event held at the Columbia Museum of Art.

Tuesday's agenda involved office hours and meetings within the Office of the Governor located in Columbia's State House. At 2:00 PM, he conducted a ceremonial bill signing for H. 4002 known as the Captain Robert Johnson Act.

Wednesday featured more office hours and another ceremonial bill signing for S. 621 concerning the South Carolina-Ireland Trade Commission bill. He also presented Charles Brooks with the Order of the Palmetto and spoke at an economic development reception.

Thursday began with a speech during Savannah River National Laboratory University Partnerships Day at USC's Russell House followed by various meetings including one on economic development and attending a national showcar reveal in Franklin, Tennessee.

Finally, Friday included a policy meeting rounding out his week’s commitments.
