U.S. Senator Tim Scott from South Carolina is inviting applications for internships in his offices located in Washington, D.C., North Charleston, Columbia, and Greenville for the spring of 2025. The program aims to provide undergraduate and graduate students with hands-on experience in public service, focusing on constituent services and federal policy.

Students from all academic backgrounds are encouraged to apply, especially those studying governmental affairs, public policy, or communications. In Washington, D.C., interns will engage in legislative research, attend congressional hearings and briefings, assist with press activities, and manage correspondence on various issues. These responsibilities also include administrative tasks such as answering phones.

In the South Carolina offices—North Charleston, Columbia, and Greenville—interns will participate actively in community projects while managing day-to-day office operations. They will address issues impacting South Carolinians daily.

Internship hours are designed to be flexible to fit students' academic schedules but typically run from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Participants may also earn course credit upon completion of the program.

Interested candidates can submit their applications via Senator Scott’s website at https://www.scott.senate.gov/constituent-services/internships. For further inquiries, contact the internship coordinator at internships@scott.senate.gov or call (202) 224-6121.
