U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham (R-South Carolina) issued a statement regarding Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s recent address to the United Nations General Assembly.

"My takeaways from Prime Minister Netanyahu’s compelling speech to the UN General Assembly:

"I agree that the body has become, at its core, hostile to the existence of the Jewish state.

"I agree that the real evil of the 21st century is not Israel, but the religious Nazi theocracy in Iran.

"I fully embrace the continued effort to achieve normalization between Saudi Arabia and Israel as described by Prime Minister Netanyahu, and will continue to work with the Biden Administration to make this happen on his watch. Now is the time to act.

"I applaud Israel’s vision of living in peaceful coexistence with the region where all boats rise. I completely support Israel’s determination to defend itself and to make sure that all corners of Israel are inhabitable by the Israeli people and they will not suffer the curse of being refugees in their own land.

"Finally, Bibi’s view of the United Nations is widely-shared, not only by American conservatives but by any fair-minded person, because the UN has given voice to the most hateful anti-Semites on the planet and represents an upside-down world where Iran, the largest state sponsor of terrorism, is welcomed."
