U.S. Senator Tim Scott (R-S.C.), a member of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, issued a statement following the killing of Hersh Goldberg-Polin by Hamas terrorists.
"My heart breaks for Hersh and his family, who never gave up hope and worked tirelessly to bring him home safely. May God bless their family and may his memory be a blessing to all who knew and loved Hersh," said Scott.
He added, "This should be yet another reminder to the entire world of the extraordinary evil Hamas terrorists commit on a routine basis."
