Governor Henry McMaster will convene with the South Carolina Emergency Management Division (SCEMD), county emergency managers, and various state agencies for the annual Governor's Hurricane Tabletop Exercise. This exercise aims to test and practice hurricane emergency operation plans.
The event is scheduled for Thursday, June 6, 2024, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Columbia Metropolitan Convention Center located at 1101 Lincoln Street in Columbia, S.C. A media availability session will follow.
The exercise will include participation from Gov. Henry McMaster, SCEMD Director Kim Stenson, county emergency managers, and representatives from various state agencies.
