Gov. Henry McMaster and Lt. Gov. Pamela S. Evette's Upcoming Public Engagements

Gov. Henry McMaster, Lt. Gov. Pamela S. Evette, and First Lady Peggy McMaster have a busy schedule for the week of March 18, 2024.

On Tuesday, March 19, Governor McMaster will provide an update on the USS Yorktown environmental remediation project at Patriots Point in Mt. Pleasant, SC, followed by a ceremonial bill signing for H. 3594, Constitutional Carry, at the State House in Columbia.

Later in the week, on Thursday, March 21, Gov. McMaster and First Lady Peggy McMaster will attend the All Kids Bike Program Reveal at John P. Thomas Elementary School in Columbia. Lt. Gov. Evette will also speak at the South Carolina Healthy Business Challenge Spring Seminar Luncheon in Greer. Additionally, Gov. McMaster will attend the Continental Tire Headquarter Celebration in Fort Mill.

Wrapping up the week, on Saturday, March 23, Lt. Gov. Evette will be the Keynote Speaker at the 67th Ghana Independence Day Celebration in Spartanburg.

In a previous week, Gov. McMaster's schedule on March 11, 2024, included various meetings and engagements. The Governor had a policy meeting and economic development meetings, as well as speaking at the Safe Summit 2024 in Washington, DC. He also presented the Order of the Palmetto to Joseph Floyd and Ethel Bunch, recognized American Red Cross Month, and attended the 223rd Hibernian Dinner in Columbia.
