COLUMBIA, S.C. - South Carolina Attorney General Alan Wilson announced the arrest of Joshua Tyler Holmes, 24, of Woodruff, S.C., on charges connected to the sexual exploitation of a minor. Holmes was arrested on February 21, 2024, by Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force investigators with the Laurens Police Department.

According to investigators, Holmes "solicited and engaged in criminal sexual conduct with a minor, exposed private parts to a minor, and contributed to the delinquency of a minor."

Holmes faces multiple charges, including criminal solicitation of a minor, criminal sexual conduct with a minor, exposure of private parts lewd and lascivious, and contributing to the delinquency of a minor. Attorney General Wilson stated that "all defendants are presumed innocent unless and until they are proven guilty in a court of law."

The case will be prosecuted by the Attorney General's Office, emphasizing the seriousness of the allegations against Holmes.
