March Madness: South Carolina represented by 11 basketball players in women’s NCAA tournament

South Carolina is being represented by 11 players in the NCAA women’s basketball tournament.

Texas will have the most players on the hard court during this year's tournament with 47 players, followed by California with 46.

There are no players from Wyoming, West Virginia or New Mexico competing this year.

Sumter, Florence and Columbia are the most popular hometowns for NCAA players from South Carolina in the tournament.
