Calling all who may be interested in becoming a Minority Business Accelerator Program participant for 2023!
This virtual information session is FREE and open to all. Come learn how the SC MBA Program can accelerate your business and take it to the next level.
The South Carolina Minority Business Accelerator program is open to all minority-owned or women-owned businesses headquartered in the Upstate of South Carolina.
Throughout the South Carolina MBA Upstate Program, participants will:
• Develop and implement strategies for your business
• Fuel your growth and build capacity
• Gain access to new opportunities
• Overcome growth barriers
Is it Right for You?
Our ideal candidates are tired of the status quo and looking to gain the business knowledge, skills, and trusted networks needed to successfully grow and guide their businesses.
Basic Eligibility Benchmarks:
• $250,000 - $10 Million in annual revenue
• At least one other full-time employee / 1099 contractor besides the owner
• Been in business for 3+ years
• Demonstrate ability to actively engage and successfully complete the program
• Socially/economically disadvantaged business (minority-owned, woman-owned, veteran-owned), or small businesses located in lower-income communities
• Business must be headquartered or have a significant presence in one of the 10 counties of the Upstate, SC
• Ability to commit the time required to actively engage (6 months of curriculum + 6 months of application)

We are thrilled to be partnering with the South Carolina SBDC, for the third year, to offer the Entrepreneurial Pathways program. A program specifically designed for applicants who may not yet meet all the qualifications for the MBA program, but you do qualify for this program. So apply anyway!

Friday, November 4, from 1pm - 3pm, as we unpack the SC MBA program and open the application period.
During this virtual gathering you will:
• Learn about the MBA experience from program graduate(s)
• Understand what the curriculum entails, fee requirements and commitment of time to expect
• Hear from the MBA instructor, Wendell Jones, and coaches
• Discover how the business coaching aspect of the MBA program works
• Learn about the MBA Entrepreneurial Pathways program and partnership with the SCSBDC - an alternative for business owners not quite ready for the cohort
This information session is FREE, but registration is required.
(Attendance is not necessary to apply to the MBA, but strongly encouraged)
