Little River Chamber of Commerce issued the following announcement on March 25.

Myrtle Beach, SC: CANNABETTER.FARM Dispensary has proudly announced its Premier Sponsorship for the World Famous Blue Crab Festival, presented by Veterans Welcome Home and Resource Center (VWHRC), to be held at the historic Little River Waterfront in Little River, SC on May 14 & 15, 2022.

“I believe we are the first legal hemp dispensary that has ever participated as a vendor, much less as a Premier Sponsor, in the World Famous Blue Crab Festival,” says Matthew Campbell, Jr., Chief Operating Officer of CANNABETTER.FARM. “It’s an honor to share awareness of hemp-based cannabis at the Festival, and we’re really grateful at how warmly we are being welcomed by the Little River Chamber of Commerce. This will be the first festival in South Carolina where you can purchase legal cannabis products with Delta 9 and Delta 8 THC, making this a historic festival and one that will be talked about for years to come.”

The Myrtle Beach-area dispensary, whose flagship store opened August 21, 2021 in Forestbrook’s Food Lion Plaza, offers a diverse line of natural products with a wide range of cannabinoids and terpenes at the strongest possible concentrations. “Everything we sell is compliant with the 2018 Farm Bill, but our hemp-derived Delta 9 gummies, syrups, and candies are identical to those sold wherever medical or recreational marijuana is legal,” says Campbell.

A variety of Delta 9, CBD, Delta 8, and other completely legal hemp-based cannabis products will be available at the dispensary’s booth at the World Famous Blue Crab Festival. Gummies, candies, topical oils, and pre-rolled blunts will be available for visitors aged 21 and over to purchase and enjoy at the Festival.

“Our customers constantly provide enthusiastic and unsolicited testimonials about the benefits and effects of our products,” Campbell says. The company makes it a point to offer deep discounts to military veterans and people with chronic health issues who find relief in CBD products, offering 30% off all merchandise to veterans and cancer patients.

As a combat veteran himself, Campbell is happy to help spread the word about the Presenting Sponsor for the 2022 Festival. “The Veterans Welcome Home and Resource Center (VWHRC) supports military veterans with job placement, financial assistance, and VA claims; they actually helped me tremendously with my own claim,” he comments. “Their shelter helps reintegrate homeless veterans back into society, based on the belief that all veterans have earned recognition, respect, and assistance. They have a free thrift shop for vets, a resume assistance service, a shelter, and they are actually building tiny homes for veterans, too. What a fantastic organization!”

CANNABETTER.FARM has tapped a promotional team from Star Performers Entertainment to entertain with stilt walking and bling distribution at the Festival. “We’re also thrilled that our favorite racing team from Riverside Auto Sales & Repair Center in Loris will be at the Festival with their race car, #58,” says Campbell, adding that CANNABETTER.FARM has signed on as a Premier Sponsor for the company’s 2022 season, and the company’s distinctive logo will display prominently on the car’s hood.

About The World Famous Blue Crab Festival

One of the largest festivals in the Southeast, the World Famous Blue Crab Festival began in 1981 as a small gathering intended to draw people to the historic waterfront in Little River, SC. With delectable fresh local seafood as the main attraction, the event now features live entertainment, unique arts and crafts, and more than 250 vendors and exhibitors, and welcomes thousands of visitors from around the world.

Organized by representatives of the Little River Chamber of Commerce in partnership with waterfront and community business owners, as well as event specialists, the festival is a massive effort of more than 150 volunteers.

“It isn’t intended to be profitable, and any profits are invested back into the community, funding causes and improvements like Movies in the Park and The Great Pumpkin Hunt; maintenance of signage and lights; and the Little River Farmers’ Market,” Campbell says. “CANNABETTER.FARM is honored to be a Premier Sponsor of the World Famous Blue Crab Festival. We appreciate this wonderful opportunity to introduce our friends and neighbors to the pleasures and benefits of hemp-derived cannabis!”
