Indigenous People: Culture, Sculpture, and Proverbs

Tour our sculpture garden and Sensory Trail to discover more information about the indigenous people of South Carolina. Through sculpture and proverbs, we will learn about hunting and gathering, their culture, and how it connects to the Lowcountry today.

Meet magical creatures and learn about herbology in an exciting program for wizards, witches, and muggles alike.

The Art of Alvin Glen

Open Daily 9:30 AM to 5:00 PM

Conservation Efforts of the Spanish Goats.  The goats were brought to the Lowcountry Zoo at Brookgreen Gardens to be managed and cared for as a conservation-breeding herd. As the herd grows, animals will be placed with other breeders for the survival of this bloodline. Babies are expected in May!  Visit them at the Floyd Family Farm exhibit.

Upcoming Schedule

The Gardens is open to normal business hours of 9:30 AM to 5:00 PM everyday.

The Old Kitchen is open from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM and serves beverages, homemade soups, cold sandwiches, quiche, and desserts.  

Harvest Restaurant is closed and will reopen at the end of January.
