The Trafalgar Group’s most recent general election-voters' data, citing research obtained with the help of the Convention of States Action, reveals that the majority of American voters question Vice President Kamala Harris’s ability to make an effective president.

Approximately 63.6% of respondents said they were not confident that Kamala Harris is ready to be president, with 58.6% being "not confident at all."

During the 2020 general election, Donald Trump and Mike Pence won South Carolina by a 11.68%. President Joe Biden and VP Harris garnered 1,091,329 total ballots, representing 43% of the vote.

“Our last poll found that most Americans don’t believe Joe Biden is actually running the country, and today we’re learning that voters think Kamala Harris’ tenure as Vice President has been a disaster, and she’s absolutely not ready to step in and take his place,” Convention of States Action President Mark Meckler said in a press release. “Washington D.C. has never been more radically out of step with the will of the American people than right now.”

According to the survey, 42.6% of Democrats admitted they lacked confidence in Harris, with 61.8% of Independents and 88.4% of Republicans agreeing.

“Our message to America is this: Washington doesn’t care what you think. Get the attention of those who do,” Meckler said. “Make sure your governor, state representative and local elected officials know where you stand. They can actually deliver for you, and will pay attention to your priorities.”

By releasing election-related poll results, the public polling and market research firm Trafalgar has earned the title for the "most accurate pollster" in several national elections. The Convention of States Action focuses on nudging the Article V Convention of the States to propose amendments that would impose limitations on the size of the federal government.
