How did home prices perform in Folly Beach during the second half of 2020?

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2020 in Folly Beach rose by $51,000 while total sales increased by 9.2%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2020, there were 71 homes sold, with a median sale price of $650,000 - a 8.5% increase over the $599,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 65 homes sold in Folly Beach in the second half of 2019.

The median sales tax in Folly Beach for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $4,829, approximately 0.7% of the median home sale price for the second half of 2020.
