What happened to the median home price in Mount Pleasant during the second half of 2020?

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2020 in Mount Pleasant rose by $24,500 while total sales increased by 22.9%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2020, there were 1,175 homes sold, with a median sale price of $449,500 - a 5.8% increase over the $425,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 956 homes sold in Mount Pleasant in the second half of 2019.

The median sales tax in Mount Pleasant for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $1,817, approximately 0.4% of the median home sale price for the second half of 2020.
