Pricing for the median home in Summerville increased during the second half of 2020

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2020 in Summerville rose by $15,500 while total sales decreased by 13.6%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2020, there were 51 homes sold, with a median sale price of $239,500 - a 6.9% increase over the $224,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 59 homes sold in Summerville in the second half of 2019.

The median sales tax in Summerville for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $952, approximately 0.4% of the median home sale price for the second half of 2020.
