The median sale price of a home sold in the fourth quarter of 2020 in North Charleston rose by $36,450 while total sales decreased by 19.2%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From October through December of 2020, there were 244 homes sold, with a median sale price of $199,450 - a 22.4% increase over the $163,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 302 homes sold in North Charleston in the fourth quarter of 2019.

The median sales tax in North Charleston for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $821, approximately 0.4% of the median home sale price for the fourth quarter of 2020.
