Forest Lakes home prices fall in 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in 2019 in Forest Lakes fell by $41,200 while total sales increased by 200%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through December of 2019, there were six homes sold, with a median sale price of $306,250 - a 11.9% decrease over the $347,450 median sale price for the previous year. There were two homes sold in Forest Lakes in 2018.

The median sales tax in Forest Lakes for 2019 was $1,351. In 2018, the median sales tax was $1,324. This marks an increase of 2%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 0.4%.
