Kiawah Island home prices fall in the first quarter of 2020

The median sale price of a home sold in the first quarter of 2020 in Kiawah Island fell by $21,500 while total sales decreased by 43.8%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through March of 2020, there were 18 homes sold, with a median sale price of $570,000 - a 3.6% decrease over the $591,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 32 homes sold in Kiawah Island in the first quarter of 2019.

The median sales tax in Kiawah Island for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $9,591, approximately 1.7% of the median home sale price for the first quarter of 2020.
