Mount Pleasant home prices fall in the first quarter of 2020

The median sale price of a home sold in the first quarter of 2020 in Mount Pleasant fell by $3,000 while total sales decreased by 12.4%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through March of 2020, there were 430 homes sold, with a median sale price of $410,000 - a 0.7% decrease over the $413,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 491 homes sold in Mount Pleasant in the first quarter of 2019.

The median sales tax in Mount Pleasant for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $1,817, approximately 0.4% of the median home sale price for the first quarter of 2020.
