North Charleston home prices rise in November 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in November 2019 in North Charleston rose by $40,000 while total sales decreased by 13.4%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In November 2019, there were 103 homes sold, with a median sale price of $170,000 - a 30.8% increase over the $130,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 119 homes sold in North Charleston in November 2018.

The median sales tax in North Charleston for 2019 was $821. In 2018, the median sales tax was $826. This marks an decrease of 0.5%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 0.5%.
