Charleston home prices fall in February 2020

The median sale price of a home sold in February 2020 in Charleston fell by $500 while total sales increased by 7.4%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In February 2020, there were 247 homes sold, with a median sale price of $302,000 - a 0.2% decrease over the $302,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 230 homes sold in Charleston in February 2019.

The median sales tax in Charleston for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $1,635, approximately 0.5% of the median home sale price for February 2020.
