Gastonia home prices rise in the second half of 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2018 in Gastonia rose by $15,000 while total sales decreased by 78.7%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2018, there were 144 homes sold, with a median sale price of $134,000 - a 12.6% increase over the $119,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 675 homes sold in Gastonia in the second half of 2017.
