Mount Pleasant home prices rise in 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in 2018 in Mount Pleasant rose by $12,750 while total sales decreased by 21%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through December of 2018, there were 1,346 homes sold, with a median sale price of $425,000 - a 3.1% increase over the $412,250 median sale price for the previous year. There were 1,704 homes sold in Mount Pleasant in 2017.

The median sales tax in Mount Pleasant for the most recent year with available data, 2015, was $1,649, approximately 0.4% of the median home sale price for 2018.
