Isle of Palms home prices rise in the first half of 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in the first half of 2018 in Isle of Palms rose by $95,000 while total sales decreased by 20.1%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through June of 2018, there were 111 homes sold, with a median sale price of $770,000 - a 14.1% increase over the $675,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 139 homes sold in Isle of Palms in the first half of 2017.

The median sales tax in Isle of Palms for the most recent year with available data, 2015, was $5,408, approximately 0.7% of the median home sale price for the first half of 2018.
