Summerville home prices rise in the first half of 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in the first half of 2018 in Summerville rose by $5,250 while total sales decreased by 6.7%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through June of 2018, there were 28 homes sold, with a median sale price of $192,500 - a 2.8% increase over the $187,250 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 30 homes sold in Summerville in the first half of 2017.

The median sales tax in Summerville for the most recent year with available data, 2015, was $862, approximately 0.4% of the median home sale price for the first half of 2018.
