Seabrook Island home prices rise in the second half of 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2018 in Seabrook Island rose by $140,500 while total sales decreased by 14.5%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2018, there were 65 homes sold, with a median sale price of $517,500 - a 37.3% increase over the $377,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 76 homes sold in Seabrook Island in the second half of 2017.

The median sales tax in Seabrook Island for the most recent year with available data, 2015, was $3,204, approximately 0.6% of the median home sale price for the second half of 2018.
