Mount Pleasant home prices rise in the first half of 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in the first half of 2019 in Mount Pleasant rose by $13,279 while total sales decreased by 16.3%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through June of 2019, there were 579 homes sold, with a median sale price of $440,000 - a 3.1% increase over the $426,721 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 692 homes sold in Mount Pleasant in the first half of 2018.

The median sales tax in Mount Pleasant for the most recent year with available data, 2015, was $1,649, approximately 0.4% of the median home sale price for the first half of 2019.
