Forest Lakes home prices fall in the first half of 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in the first half of 2019 in Forest Lakes fell by $44,950 while total sales increased by 50%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through June of 2019, there were three homes sold, with a median sale price of $302,500 - a 12.9% decrease over the $347,450 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were two homes sold in Forest Lakes in the first half of 2018.

The median sales tax in Forest Lakes for the most recent year with available data, 2015, was $1,283, approximately 0.4% of the median home sale price for the first half of 2019.
