Folly Beach home prices rise in the third quarter of 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in the third quarter of 2018 in Folly Beach rose by $120,500 while total sales decreased by 46.4%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through September of 2018, there were 15 homes sold, with a median sale price of $665,000 - a 22.1% increase over the $544,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 28 homes sold in Folly Beach in the third quarter of 2017.

The median sales tax in Folly Beach for the most recent year with available data, 2015, was $4,233, approximately 0.6% of the median home sale price for the third quarter of 2018.
