Seabrook Island home prices rise in the fourth quarter of 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in the fourth quarter of 2018 in Seabrook Island rose by $80,000 while total sales decreased by 26.3%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From October through December of 2018, there were 28 homes sold, with a median sale price of $402,500 - a 24.8% increase over the $322,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 38 homes sold in Seabrook Island in the fourth quarter of 2017.

The median sales tax in Seabrook Island for the most recent year with available data, 2015, was $3,204, approximately 0.8% of the median home sale price for the fourth quarter of 2018.
