Mount Pleasant home prices fall in the fourth quarter of 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in the fourth quarter of 2018 in Mount Pleasant fell by $23,500 while total sales decreased by 12.7%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From October through December of 2018, there were 269 homes sold, with a median sale price of $400,000 - a 5.5% decrease over the $423,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 308 homes sold in Mount Pleasant in the fourth quarter of 2017.

The median sales tax in Mount Pleasant for the most recent year with available data, 2015, was $1,649, approximately 0.4% of the median home sale price for the fourth quarter of 2018.
