McClellanville home prices rise in the fourth quarter of 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in the fourth quarter of 2018 in McClellanville rose by $92,450 while total sales increased by 50%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From October through December of 2018, there were six homes sold, with a median sale price of $339,500 - a 37.4% increase over the $247,050 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were four homes sold in McClellanville in the fourth quarter of 2017.

The median sales tax in McClellanville for the most recent year with available data, 2015, was $864, approximately 0.3% of the median home sale price for the fourth quarter of 2018.
