Summerville home prices fall in the first quarter of 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in the first quarter of 2019 in Summerville fell by $6,164 while total sales decreased by 7.1%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through March of 2019, there were 13 homes sold, with a median sale price of $186,336 - a 3.2% decrease over the $192,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 14 homes sold in Summerville in the first quarter of 2018.

The median sales tax in Summerville for the most recent year with available data, 2015, was $862, approximately 0.5% of the median home sale price for the first quarter of 2019.
