Summerville home prices rise in the second quarter of 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in the second quarter of 2019 in Summerville rose by $3,500 while total sales decreased by 50%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From April through June of 2019, there were seven homes sold, with a median sale price of $197,000 - a 1.8% increase over the $193,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 14 homes sold in Summerville in the second quarter of 2018.

The median sales tax in Summerville for the most recent year with available data, 2015, was $862, approximately 0.4% of the median home sale price for the second quarter of 2019.
